The Process
We are happy to show you this illustration of part of what the process involves and the routine the technician goes through during a typical repair. To learn more about PDR check out our Q&A page. The dent in this Ferarri is on the right 1/4 panel. The first thing that Brent has to do is find access to the dent behind the panel it is located on. There can be many different types of obstructions as in this repair. At first, the best option seems to be through the rear 1/4 glass. This does not work, so he has to try another route. His second choice is through the trunk in the rear, this too, however, does not work because of structural obstructions. The next step is to try the rear engine compartment. Switching dent rods, Brent has found an access to the dent in this compartment. With a few of his tricks and some tender loving care the dent is quickly removed.
