Because of the way automobiles are made and the methods that are used in paintless dent repair, there are some instances when a ding cannot be repaired. Generally, the red areas on this car indicate problem spots for the technician. The reason for this is that these areas are either edges or are accompanied by bracing behind the panels you see. These areas tend to be generally unrepairable. However, this doesn't mean that there is no chance for a repair because every make of car is different. These areas can be repaired if the dent is small. Hail dents CAN be repaired in these areas using a method called "glue pulling". This type of repair is performed only on the outside of the panel. The areas immediately bordering the red tend to be more difficult as well. This illustration is simply a guide to help you understand where the tight spots are and how pricing is sometimes affected.
